چکیده

The synthesis of sugar fatty acid esters (SFAEs) from lignocellulosic biomass and oleic (C18:1) was catalyzed by immobilized-stabilized derivatives Candida antarctica lipase B in a methyl ethyl ketone medium. After steam-explosion pretreatment mixed hardwoods enzymatic hydrolysis at 15%wt solids, xylose glucose were purified/concentrated to mass ratio ~3 1. These sugars superior commercial as the carbohydrate source for esterification reaction terms conversions. highest conversions obtained using 1.5% w/v Novozyme 435 (N435, uncoated) biocatalyst SFAEs. Coating N435 with polyethyleneimine (PEI) prevented enzyme leakage into medium produced 35% 50% higher SFAEs, respectively, same loading. six 24 h reuse cycles PEI-coated N435, conversion decreased 44%, while 65% reduction observed uncoated lipase. Mass spectrometry analysis confirmed production mono- di-esters. Our purified product presented an emulsion capacity (EC) close that ester ECs oleate, laurate, palmitate synthesized previous studies.

Lipase mediated synthesis of sugar fatty acid esters

This review is concerned with lipase catalyzed synthesis of sugar fatty acid esters in water immiscible organic solvents. Sugar esters are widely used nonionic and nontoxic biosurfactants. Certain sugar esters inhibit microbial growth and have other activities. Lipase mediated synthesis has important advantages over conventional chemical synthesis of sugar esters. Lipase catalyzed synthesis is ...

comparison of catalytic activity of heteropoly compounds in the synthesis of bis(indolyl)alkanes.

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
